Hi, I'm Amy with Baron Law & Mediation and today, what I'd like to share with you are the three major tracks of divorce mediation.
The first track has to do with anything and everything about the children. Legal custody, Co-parenting schedules, communication to and from the children and about the children, traveling with the children, how the holidays will be spent, how the summer will be spent, their extracurricular activities, their education, even college. Plus, health insurance too.
The second track covers assets & liabilities, so that means real and personal property, such as cars and homes, along with banking and investment accounts, educational accounts, retirement and stock plans.
The third track has to do with cash flow, and that means either child support or spousal support, also known as alimony.
We take a lot of time with the couple, because we want to make sure that we can provide the couple with an agreement that works both now, as well into the future, and allows everybody to meet their financial needs going forward. I hope you found this informative and if you'd like further information, you can find us online at our website, at www.baronlawmediation.com.
